The Glass Eye is proud to announce our 2nd annual Summer Shakespeare production! This June will be the premiere of a new take on Twelfth Night, directed by Artistic Director Kyle Metzger, with original music by Tim Duncheon.
Set in a New England seaside town in the 1930’s, this production harkens back to the era of the musical comedy, a la Cole Porter’s Anything Goes. With gorgeous nautical inspired costume design by Rivkah Spolin, and jazz age music by Tim Duncheon, this production pops with exuberance.
Like all Glass Eye Summer Shakespeare productions, Twelfth Night tickets are by donation, so anyone can enjoy this 90 minute escapade of secret identity, love, and foolishness. A variety of arts education programs and school groups will be attending, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how to get your group to the show!
For our Connecticut performances on DuBois beach, we are once again hosted by the Stonington Como, June 25th and 26th at 6PM.
Casting is complete, and rehearsals begin next week! Keep an eye out for our Indiegogo fundraiser; if you can’t join us for the show this summer, you can still help us bring theater to people of all ages and backgrounds!
